ROTARACT GHANA ZONE D ORGANIZES A CLEAN-UP EXERCISE

On the 21st of September, 2017, a community clean up exercise was organized to effort of participating in the National Volunteering Day Program. The exercise was carried out at Ayeduase market which happens to be a community within the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Similar exercises were also organized across the country. Rotaract Club of KNUST happens to be part of the Zone D group. Participants also educated the community members on how to continually keep the environment clean which would eventually help prevent the spread of disease. It must be noted that this is in line with the area of focus for disease and prevention for Rotary International.

Rotaract club of KNUST meets Rotarians From Banff, Scotland

 Members of the Rotaract Club of KNUST sponsored by Rotary Club of Kumasi had an interactive session with members from Rotary Club of Banff , Scotland on the 18th March, 2018. The president and the members of Rotaract Club of KNUST  expressed their gratitude for the support and expressed their willingness to collaborate in the future for more projects which would make a difference in the world.

The members of Rotary Clubs are known as Rotarians. Members usually meet weekly as an opportunity to organize work on their service goals. Rotary for the past years have contributed immensely towards the ending of polio worldwide , by so doing Rotary has contributed $2.2 billion on Polio with the Bill and Melinda gates foundation contributing over $900 million towards ending Polio worldwide.
